Can out of round cylinders be fixed?

I finally got test results back from my former block.

Cylinder #2 is 1.5 to 2/1000" out of round.
Cylinder #3 is 3/1000" out of round.

Is this fixable with a simple bore out and ring job? Or will this require re-sleeving?

Thanks Jim. I'm not planning on fixing it. I just want to be able to sell it and give potential buyers honest information as to its' status.

I'm curious though... Once it's bored out 10/1000, can you re-use the stock pistons with new, properly sized rings? Or do you need to put new pistons in too?

That is fixable Greg. Go ten thousandths (.25mm) over and you will be fine. If you use aftermarket pistons, you may have to go larger than this... and it is NOT recommended to bore stock sleeves more than .010" when using forced induction.
